Privacy policy
Effective [date]. beoro.ca ("BEORO", "we") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).
What we collect
- To fill your order: your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.
- Payment: your payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Our private list: your email address, only if you choose to join. [Add this once the sign-up exists.]
- Using the site: technical information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit, through cookies or similar tools. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your order, send order and shipping emails, handle returns and questions, keep our records, meet legal and tax duties, and, with your consent, send you news and early access. We do not collect information we do not need for these purposes.
Consent
By placing an order you agree that we may use your information to fill it. We ask for your separate, clear consent before sending marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the people who help us run the store: our payment processor (Stripe), our delivery carrier (Canada Post), our email service (Brevo), our website host (Cloudflare) and our analytics provider (Google). We do not sell your information. Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where it may be subject to that country's laws.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years to meet tax and accounting rules. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe. We then delete it or make it anonymous.
Email and CASL
We send marketing emails only with your consent. Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe link, and we act on it promptly, within ten business days at most. Order and shipping emails are not marketing and may still be sent.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including secure payment processing, limited access and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Write to our privacy contact below. We reply within 30 days.
Children
Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Orders must be placed by an adult.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. [If you sell to Quebec, Law 25 adds duties, so have this checked.]
